Attention & Patience

Journalling is not the beginning of a conversation with yourself, only that which is seen.

Prayer is not the beginning of a conversation with God, only that which is heard.

Actions, too, are a byproduct of long-held beliefs.

Beliefs about people, the world, progress, and the future are hidden in our heart, and from the secrets of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Only through attention can we begin to see that which is hidden. Only through patience can such things be formed.

Attention and patience are of utmost value to those that seek to know themselves, and to know God.
